Abington Vale Playschool
Our Staff
At Abington Vale Playschool we have highly experienced, qualified staff members who are all committed to the care and development of young children. We ensure that all our team have been checked by the Enhanced Disclosure and Barring service.
We have 6 members of staff within our Playschool, who are all extremely motivated and constantly updating their training in order to maintain our high standards.
Within our Playschool we operate a key person approach, this gives each member of the team responsibilities for a small number of children and ensures that each child will have a special member of our team to relate to. The keyperson oversees each child's individual learning and development, they will also maintain links with the child's parents/carers through twice yearly consultations. Abington Vale Playschool staff warmly welcome any parents who would like to come in to discuss your child’s learning. Please don’t feel that it is restricted to parent consultations as our doors are always open. Working closely with parent/carers ensures that children reach their full potential, growing and developing at their own pace.
To enable us to provide a high level of care and individual attention to the needs of each child, we operate with a high adult to child ratio, which is above the legal requirements for early years.
