Abington Vale Playschool was established in 1969. Since then, we have been privileged to work for many families. We are proud to have received many recommendations from former parents. 

 

Our fantastic team of dedicated Early Years educators are proud of the Playschool, and we strive to encourage children to learn through play while having a fun experience!

 

The Playschool is registered with Ofsted and the Local Authority and affiliated with the Preschool Learning Alliance.

We are an inclusive setting, where children of all abilities are welcome, we have a dedicated SENCo lead, that is passionate about the needs of every child, including those with special educational needs, Natalie Fleck our SEND lead has an Accredited Level 3 Early Years SENCO Award.

 We cater for children from the age of 2 to school age. We provide a friendly, caring, and nurturing environment for children and can have up to 24 children per session. We are a term-time only setting, and our session times run from 9 am to 12 pm and 12.30 pm to 3.30 pm, with options for a full-day session that runs from 9 am to 3 pm. There is an option for your child to stay until 3.30 pm at an extra charge of £3.00. (Children will need to bring their own packed lunch; however, we provide nutritional snacks.)

 

We are very lucky to have an enclosed outdoor play area which we use as an outdoor classroom ensuring the children can experience an even wider range of fun learning activities both inside and out. The play area is exclusive to our playschool therefore we can enhance the area in line with the children’s interests.

 

The whole team is very passionate about the Playschool. Together, we provide a high-quality standard of care for all children. We have policies and procedures to promote consistency in all we do. If you wish to have a copy of these policies, please ask.
